Brentford aftermath makes no excuses as players surely are far from standard and no fans left “keeping the faith”
Over time, no real support for those sacking managers, then just making another strange appointment that makes it even worse, that is even more negative. But when you cannot see any light in the tunnel, surely changes must be done. At Leicester we have seen some good appointments, but new faces can often have strange and special ideas, as they have no history, so doing a change will not always work out.
Love to watch creative players who can take on opponents and create chances. Stephy Mavididi and Facundo Bounanotte are two such players, both should be playing every game as long as they are available. Then to see a manager doing something very different, makes it difficult to accept results happening.
People who meet up to every game, watching every movement of players and management, are not to listen to, that is so wrong and very unfair. People following the club in thick and thin, should not be stamped as “just fans”, being pumped down for not having played the game at a proper level, just to be told, shut up and stay loyal, or you can go home, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Your opinion can be written or oral, but using bad language to get your message through will never help, and often be seen as nothing to listen to.
To appoint a good manager and compete at Premier League level is the most difficult act in football, so it’s not for everyone to go into that environment, surely Ruud van Nistelrooy has had his time and in no way been capable to find a formula that works.
We can go on into this every hour and minute. Being a previous footballer at a level that could say you have played, also been involved in coaching at many different levels and playing division football in games against previous Champions League winners, as well as competing against teams with team mates of Ruud van Nistelrooy from his playing days, should make it possible to say something about this situation. This is not working and a change is needed sooner rather than later.
Every time we make player ratings at this website, we do not ignore fans. We are looking at comments on different fan channels on you tube, we do look at the ratings at Foxes Talk and Leicestershire Live, as that makes interesting benchmarks. To balance your own thoughts and views with a poll made up by fans should never be faulted, they are mostly correct.
