Elijah Adebayo: All you need to know about the Nigerian striker who scored against Arsenal and Manchester City

Luton Town – The Calm Before The Storm.

Today is the day, the local derby, against Watford is now upon us, bragging rights are at stake and, of course, three crucial points.

As we battle to escape from the clutches of relegation, we need to start picking up points and what better place to start than Vicarage Road.

Yesterday, as ar as the EFL Championship relegation battle goes, things didn’t go well with Plymouth picking up a point, in a draw with Cardiff City, Portsmouth continued their fine recent run with another victory, this time against Queens Park Rangers and Hull City, surprisingly, taking all three points in an away fixture against Sunderland.

Indeed, the only result that went our way was Derby County losing at home to Milllwall.

As a result, the Hatters remain rooted to the bottom of the EFL Championship table, but, whereas if things had of gone our way yesterday a win at Vicarage Road would have put us level on points with the team in 22nd place, a win today will lift the Hatters to the same position but we’d still be 2 points adrift of the team in 21st place.

That situation really emphasises the need for the Hatters to get a decent result, a win, anything other will see us remain at the foot off the table for at least another week.
