The Aston Villa loanee opened the scoring for the Canaries just after the half-hour mark before Lewis Baker levelled the game for the away side. However, a Josh Sargent double followed by a Junior Tchamadeu own goal handed the Norfolk outfit an unassailable lead.
Baker reduced the arrears with a penalty in the final minute, but the result inflicted further damage on the Potters’ chances of getting away from the relegation battle, while Johannes Hoff Thorup’s team are now just four points off the play-off places.
The victory was Norwich’s first since they beat Watford 1-0 away from home on 1 February, and has reignited hopes of a top six finish.

Saturday saw Dobbin score his second goal since moving to the Canaries from Premier League side Aston Villa in January, and he is in a fine run of form after struggling at the start of the season while on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
Thorup needs confident players if his side are going to challenge for the play-offs and the 22-year-old has been showing great signs in recent weeks, having also had a goal ruled out for offside against Derby County earlier in the month.
