Everton eye Manor Solomon move amid Tottenham transfer stance
Everton are already drawing up plans for the summer transfer window as they edge closer to securing their Premier League status.
Having started last month’s winter window in dire straits and looking set for a lengthy relegation battle at the bottom end of the table, Everton‘s fortunes have been completely transformed by David Moyes.
Since replacing Sean Dyche in the Goodison Park dugout, Moyes has overseen four Premier League wins in seven, losing just once and climbing from 16th to 14th in the table with 14 more points to their name.
As a result, the Toffees now have a 14-point buffer to the bottom three having almost doubled their tally from 17 to 31 in little over five weeks, and with safety on the way, attention is now turning to the summer.
Everton given boost in £15m Manor Solomon transfer chase
One area in which Everton will be keen to strengthen this summer is the wings, having eyed up several wide options whom they failed to really pursue amid financial restrictions in last month’s window.
According to GiveMeSport (23 February), Tottenham are preparing to sell Toffees transfer target Manor Solomon in the summer window, following his exploits on loan at Leeds United so far this season.
Spurs would be willing to accept bids between £10million and £15m for Solomon having accepted he has no future in North London, and while Leeds are keen to make the Israel international’s loan deal permanent, Everton retain a significant interest in signing the 25-year-old permanently.
