Newcastle United, Brighton among clubs tracking Norwich City defender
Norwich City defender Kellen Fisher is being tracked by Newcastle United, Brighton, Fulham and Wolves, according to Graeme Bailey.
Norwich City have a strong reputation for developing players, be it prospects recruited from elsewhere or youngsters who have come all the way through the NCFC academy.
Among the biggest recent successes has been Kellen Fisher. He signed after making a name for himself for Bromley, who were in the National League at the time, and he’s become a regular starter under Johannes Hoff Thorup.
Now, with an eye on the long-term, Premier League clubs are starting to take note of Kellen’s ability and potential.
Speaking with EFL Analysis, reporter Graeme Bailey has claimed top-flight quartet Newcastle United, Brighton, Fulham and Wolves have been tracking the development of Norwich City right-back Fisher.
It remains to be seen whether any of the four sides firm up their interest with a move further down the line, but they’re all among those keeping an eye on his progression with the Canaries.
The 20-year-old is under contract until the summer of 2028 with an option to extend by a further 12 months after NCFC struck a new long-term agreement with promising youngster Fisher last September.
