Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa Preview: Team News Predicted Lineups Key Players & Prediction…
Crystal Palace entertain Aston Villa at Selhurst Park in a Premier League fixture on Tuesday evening.
The Eagles have had an inconsistent season and currently lie 13th in the table. They bagged the London derby bragging rights at Craven Cottage last weekend, winning 2-0 against Fulham. This should give Oliver Glasner’s men some confidence ahead of welcoming Aston Villa.
The Villans, meanwhile, are eighth in the table and vying for a spot in the Champions League for the second consecutive campaign. They are on a three-game unbeaten run in the league, including beating Chelsea 2-1 at home last time out. So, Unai Emery’s side will be slight favourites on paper for this fixture.
Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa—Team News..
Oliver Glasner said Crystal Palace came through the weekend’s win over Fulham unscathed, with no new injury issues, meaning Chadi Riad (knee), Cheick Doucoure (knee) and Joel Ward (calf) remain their only injury absentees.
As for Aston Villa, Unai Emery revealed both Tyrone Mings and Morgan Rogers are doubts for the fixture at Selhurst Park. Mings came off in the second half with a knee injury in the 2-1 win over Chelsea and will be assessed, along with Rogers.
Axel Disasi, who was ineligible to face his parent club Chelsea last weekend, is now available for selection again. Emery also said Pau Torres is making a recovery from his metatarsal injury and will soon join team training.

Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa—Key Players
Crystal Palace—Eberechi Eze..
Eberechi Eze has had a stop-start season for Palace. Niggling injury problems have not allowed him to reach peak fitness and consistency levels, even though he has delivered two goals and five assists in 22 games. With the England international in the team, the Eagles are a different proposition to face. If Eze can get into pockets of spaces behind the Villa backline and supply incisive balls for Jean-Philippe Mateta, Palace will likely cause a lot of problems for the visitors.
Aston Villa—Marco Asensio..
Marco Asensio proved his class with a brace that helped Villa come from a goal down to beat Chelsea 2-1 at home. It was the Spaniard’s second consecutive league start and he grabbed it with both hands. Fellow loanee Marcus Rashford bagged both assists for his goals, and if the duo can combine again in the final third like they did last weekend, Villa could be too hot to handle for the Eagles.
