Forget Jeremy Monga and Jake Evans another Leicester academy star shined with two goals in Derby County win..
Whilst Leicester City struggle in the Premier League and fight to preserve their top flight status, it’s all smiles at the academy right now.
Leicester’s academy has been blessed with developing top talent over the years and right now, there are plenty of young Foxes to keep an eye on.
For the third game in a row, the Leicester Under-21s were victorious, beating East Midlands rivals Derby County 2-1 in the Premier League 2, seeing them move up to 10th as a result.
Jeremy Monga started the game, as did summer signing Michael Golding, who has returned from injury.
The biggest absence was Jake Evans, who was missing through injury, but should be back soon enough.
With their main talisman out of action, it was another academy star who shined for the Foxes and bagged both goals in an important victory.

Monga and Evans have been the two players that have received the most attention, but there are a host of other youngsters who deserve their flowers.
Henry Cartwright has been involved in first-team training, among others, but this time it was Logan Briggs who caught the eye on Monday night.
Briggs has also trained with Leicester’s first team but started the game at Seagrave Training centre, lining up on the left wing.
The wide man scored both goals for Leicester – the first being a cross-cum-shot that looked like it had been cleared off the line, only for the referee to rule that the whole ball did cross the line.
With 15 minutes to go, the Foxes then doubled the lead through Briggs again after a great team move that saw the 20-year-old inside the box.
