We need the community to come together’ – Johansson
Stoke City need everyone to stick together if they are to avoid relegation out of the Championship, says goalkeeper Viktor Johansson.
The Potters lost 3-1 at home to Middlesbrough on Tuesday and were booed off by fans after a third defeat in their past four games.
“We’re maybe too soft at times and we let them cut through us a bit too easily,” Johansson told BBC Radio Stoke.
“But we have to watch the game back as there’s some good play in there as well and we have to try to see the positives.”
Mark Robins’ side have conceded seven goals in two games, are just five points clear of the relegation zone with 12 games to play and host Watford on Saturday.
“We are as frustrated as the fans because we want to deliver and we have some brilliant quality players and we’re tight as a family so I’m sure we’ll come through this,” he added.
“We need the whole community, the fans really help us so we all need to be together through this.”
