Eddie Howe has already picked who’s starting in place of Lewis Hall for Newcastle in Carabao Cup final
Newcastle United will be without Lewis Hall against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final due to injury.
The 20-year-old missed Newcastle’s loss to Brighton on Sunday, as the Magpies crashed out of the FA Cup.
It was confirmed that Lewis Hall was absent due to an ankle issue, with the defender set to see a specialist.
That set alarm bells ringing, and Newcastle United’s fears have now been realised.
Newcastle lose Lewis Hall to injury ahead of Wembley
While Toon fans have been crossing their fingers for good news regarding Hall’s injury, that has not been forthcoming.
According to the Daily Mail, Hall will miss the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool due to injury.
It is a devastating blow for the left-back, who has been enjoying an incredible season in black and white.
It is also a devastating blow for Newcastle, who have lost another key player ahead of their trip to Wembley.
Anthony Gordon is suspended, and now Hall is ruled out. His absence is even more painful given how well Hall played against Mohamed Salah at Anfield last week.

With Hall ruled out, Eddie Howe will need to name an alternative at left-back.
