How to get tickets to the Detroit Tigers’ Spring Training game against the Pittsburgh Pirates for as low as $14
The Detroit Tigers are gearing up for another home affair this preseason, giving fans in the Sunshine State an opportunity to see present and future Tigers in action when they host the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday.
The Grapefruit League matchup with the Pirates will wrap up a busy weekend for the Tigers. After taking on the Baltimore Orioles in Lakeland on Friday night, they will visit the Toronto Blue Jays in Dunedin on Saturday.
The Tigers are looking for a little consistency from its long list of players. While they have lopsided wins over the Philadelphia Phillies, they have stumbled against teams like the Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays.
It is also the second time in a week Detroit will be playing Pittsburgh. The Bengals took care of the Bucs last Sunday in Bradenton, coming away with a 10-4 victory.
This will be the second of four meetings between Pittsburgh and Detroit. The Tigers will visit the Pirates this coming Friday before hosting them on St. Patrick’s Day next Monday.
Sunday’s affair will mark the eighth of a scheduled 15 home games during Spring Training for the Tigers.
