Luton Town – Support Apprehensive Over Burnley Trip

After ending their long run without a win, against Portsmouth, last Saturday, the fixture computer has been far from kind to Luton Town scheduling a trip to Burnley as their next game.

Burnley are chasing an automatic promotion place and a quick return to the Premier League, a division they dropped out of last May, along with the Hatters.

Managed by Scott Parker, Burnley have only conceded a miserly 10 goals in the EFL Championship, this season, and will be a hard nut to crack.

Even though the Hatters confidence will have been boosted by the win, last weekend, when it comes to our pre-match poll, a mere 22% are predicting a win, for Luton Town, at Turf Moor.

Indeed, the majority, 46%, are of the opinion that it’ll be a return to losing ways for the Hatters in this game.

Or could the 32% who predicted the draw know something the others don’t?

My view is that if the Hatters are to get anything from this game they cannot afford to concede an early goal and end up chasing the game.

But are they up to that task?
