While Norwich City’s quest for promotion back to the Premier League is fading, forward Josh Sargent has been a shining light in a disappointing season.
The American international has been a regular source of goals at the top end of the pitch for the Canaries, with such consistent form increasing speculation over his future in East Anglia.
Sargent’s 12 goals and five assists from 24 Championship outings has seen him establish himself as one of the leading talents in the second tier this season, with many opposition teams fearing his presence when coming up against the 25-year-old.

Seemingly hitting his stride in the prime of his career, Sargent has been a first team regular under Johannes Hoff Thorup whenever available, starting 21 of the 24 second tier matches he’s been fit for.
With Sargent such an imperative figure to any Norwich success, it seems surprising the Canaries have set his asking price so low for the upcoming summer transfer window, with a number of clubs ready to pounce on such a bargain of a deal.
