What to eat and drink at T-Mobile Park this season
New menu options and new value options at T-Mobile Park
It’s a well-known fact that baseball games are governed under a subsection of airport rules (meal times are just suggestions, money isn’t real, calories don’t count, etc.), and that’s doubly true for Mariners baseball games. When you’re at a Tuesday night game in April and the wind is whipping through the stadium and you’re somehow still getting rained on in line for the bathroom, you’re basically required to get the biggest bread bowl of clam chowder you can find and submerge yourself in it like a hot tub. Here’s what’s on offer at the ballpark this year, with a caveat that since I was at spring training, I wasn’t actually there in person to sample these goods, and am imagining how things taste based on pictures and years of experience with Sodexo’s offerings.
Moto Pizza*: It’s not the cheapest option and the line can be frustratingly long at peak times, but it will fill your belly with carb-y warm goodness like nothing else on offer. If you prefer a thinner crust, Ballard Pizza is also back, and will be doing specials that change every homestand. For the first homestand, the special will be Spicy Italian; the Troll Pizza, with Italian sausage and soppressata, will be around April 7-13.
Marination: The lunch plate is the most popular item in the press box for writers who forgot to pack a meal. It’s a great value; speaking of which, the spam musubi is the cheapest quick bite in the park (get there early, it sells out). This year Marination is also adding furikake-spiced pretzels and li hing gummy bears. (The ‘Pen, Sec. 119)
Tamari Bar: The 206 Curry is the second most popular item for writers who forgot to pack a meal two days in a row. (Sec. 133)
Great State Burger*: Listed as a new offering for 2025, but technically returning after a seven-year hiatus (the North remembers). No offense to Lil’ Woody’s, but I loved Great State when it was at the park, and am excited to see it back. Also, there’s a plant-based chicken-style sandwich so vegetarians don’t have to miss out.
