West Ham want Senne Lammens in ‘outstading’ £30m transfer deal
Graham Potter is set to put his own stamp on his West Ham squad in the summer transfer window and Senne Lammens could be part of that rebuild.
After Julen Lopetegui spent a fair bit of money in last summer’s window, Potter was left with limited breathing space in the winter transfer window, limiting the changes he could make.
West Ham identify Lammens target
As Lukasz Fabiankski approaches the end of his West Ham contract this summer, the Hammers could look to move the goalkeeper on before bringing in a long-term successor with Alphonse Areola still under contract.
The two goalkeepers at West Ham have shared duties throughout the season so far proving their abilities to push one another to work hard.
Goalkeeper | Appearances |
Lukasz Fabiankski | 13 |
Alphonse Areola | 18 |
However, a constant change in goalkeeper can be difficult for the players at the back who are trying to used to different styles of playing in short spaces of time.
With that in mind, West Ham could secure a more permanent option in the summer window with Lammens being identified as a target for the East London outfit.
According to Simon Mullock in the print edition of the Sunday Mirror (23 March, page 79), West Ham are one of the clubs tracking the 22-year-old at Royal Antwerp.
