Leeds United ready Nico Raskin transfer after multi-million Rangers news
Leeds United are ready for one last push at promotion to the Premier League this season, and if they achieve their aims, Daniel Farke will have plenty of work to do.
The German has assembled a strong squad, although Leeds have been warned about the challenges that lie ahead in the top flight.
Therefore, if Farke wants to keep his side in the Premier League for more than just one season, he will have to strengthen his squad, with the 49ers ready to spend big.
Rangers reveal Nicolas Raskin price tag
While promotion is the only thing on the minds of Leeds supporters right now, getting back to the top flight is only half the challenge, with the long-term goal at Elland Road being top-flight stability.
One man on the radar is Rangers midfielder Nico Raskin, who has been a regular at Ibrox this term, and a rare highlight in an otherwise struggling set-up.
The midfielder has contributed two goals and six assists across 39 appearances in all competitions this term, helping the Bears to a Europa League quarter-final.
However, with Raskin being under contract at Ibrox until 2027, the Light Blues are set to take a tough stance on any potential transfer.
According to TEAMtalk (26 March), Rangers will be looking for a fee of £20million and upwards if they are to part ways with the 24-year-old, who just made his debut for Belgium.
With the 49ers Enterprises looking to complete a takeover of Rangers before the season is over, this could give Leeds an advantage in their pursuit, as the two clubs would then have a direct link.
