The return of the impressive 20-year-old would add firepower to the end of QPR’s Championship season.
QPR striker Rayan Kolli appears to have teased an imminent return from injury on social media this week as the Championship returns to action this weekend.
Marti Cifuentes’ side make the trip to Stoke City before hosting Cardiff City at Loftus Road next weekend. The R’s are still pushing for a top half finish, which would be a strong building block under the Catalan coach following the relegation dogfight at his hands when arriving in London last season.
QPR ended a four match run of back-to-back defeats with a 2-2 draw with Leeds United before the international break. That will have buoyed the side over the pause in league action but Cifuentes will be all too aware he must find an extra spark to ensure a strong finish to the campaign.
Kolli has turned heads in a breakthrough season for QPR this year. The striker has four Championship goals and two assists to his name in just 595 league minutes so far this season. The talisman has not featured in a matchday squad since the 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers in February.
