Leeds in ‘horrendous’ admission as ‘out of window’ claim made on talkSPORT
Leeds United became a topic of discussion on talkSPORT ahead of returning to Championship action on Saturday.
With the last international break of the season done and dusted, Leeds are back in action against Swansea at Elland Road on 29 March.
Daniel Farke and Co. will look to reclaim their place at the top of the Championship table after Sheffield United beat Coventry City 3-1 at Bramall Lane on Friday, 28 March.
As Burnley are also within touching distance, the Whites need to improve on their recent run of form, which has seen them drop seven points in their last four games, if they want to earn automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Leeds must avoid draws in remaining fixtures
Looking ahead to the final stretch of the promotion race, Tony Cascarino has insisted that Leeds, Sheffield United and Burnley cannot afford to settle for anything other than wins in their remaining games.
The talkSPORT pundit claimed that even a draw in their away games will not serve them well in their bid to finish in the top two.
“Look, the top three now are only about wins”, Cascarino said on talkSPORT (29 March, 6:38 am).
“All three of them, Burnley, Leeds and Sheffield United, draws are out of the window.
“It’s not going to serve them well to [their hopes to] get promoted automatically because all three of them are playing at such a high level above everybody else now.
“It’s going to be win, win, win all the way. I think if any of them draw away from home, you drop two points.
