With the roof open and chilly winds swirling around T-Mobile Park on Sunday afternoon, Woo made his first MLB start in the month of April, having started last season on the injured list. Facing the team that abandoned his hometown for Sacramento and then supposedly Las Vegas, Woo continued his dominance over the A’s, pitching six innings, allowing one run on three hits with two walks and five strikeouts to get the win.
