
Wrexham AFC – the football club owned by Hollywood superstar Ryan Reynolds – look set to tour Australia later this year.

9News Melbourne’s Tom Morris confirmed a clash with Melbourne Victory in July was all-but secured in what looms as an “amazing coup” for the city.
“Wrexham, the club made famous by Ryan Reynolds, is highly likely to be playing a game in July against Melbourne Victory at Marvel Stadium,” he said.
“It’s an amazing coup for Visit Victoria if they can get it done and I expect they will. This is almost certainly happening … they have taken the world by storm.”
Currently playing in England’s third-tier competition, known as League One, Wrexham are pushing for promotion to the Championship and sit in second spot on the table.
Victory on the other hand are one of the most popular teams in Australia and have won four A-League titles since the competition’s inception.
