NY Jets schedule top-30 draft visit with fast-rising Day 3 QB prospect
The Jets are eyeing this Day 3 QB prospect.
The New York Jets set out to reshape their quarterback room this offseason. The departure of Aaron Rodgers left a void on the Jets’ quarterback depth chart that the team quickly filled with Justin Fields in free agency.
Now, the Jets could turn to the 2025 NFL Draft as they continue to add to the position group. The Jets have been connected to a few high-profile quarterbacks in the lead-up to the draft, including projected first-rounders such as Shedeur Sanders and Jaxson Dart.
But if the Jets are going to add a quarterback in this year’s draft, the most likely scenario would see the team target the position on Day 2 or 3 of the event. The Jets have met with a few notable mid-round quarterback prospects, but their latest apparent target is flying a bit under the radar.
Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda reported last week that the Jets are set to host North Dakota State quarterback Cam Miller on a top-30 visit. Miller wasn’t really on the radar of many draft analysts until recently but has seen his stock climb steadily.

It isn’t difficult to figure out why Miller has been overlooked. At just 5-foot-10, 195 pounds, Miller is one of the smallest quarterback prospects in this year’s draft. His height falls in the 20th percentile of draft-eligible quarterbacks, while his weight isn’t much better in the 32nd percentile.
