Green Bay Packers Predicted to Pull Off Huge Trade for Bengals’ $21 Million Star
Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers were a contender in the NFC last season. However, they were not an elite contender and were quickly eliminated in the wild card round of the playoffs.
Heading into the offseason, the Packers were expected to be more aggressive than they had been in years past. So far, Brian Gutekunst has opted to continue with business as usual. He has not made any aggressive moves out of the normal Green Bay way.
So far, the Packers have signed offensive lineman Aaron Banks, cornerback Nate Hobbs, and wide receiver Mecole Hardman. Banks and Hobbs appear likely to be key pieces during the 2025 NFL season, but Hardman is much more likely to make an impact as a return man on special teams.
One major need entering the offseason was adding another pass rusher. That has not happened to this point.
Green Bay Packers Predicted to Pull Off Huge Trade for Bengals’ $21 Million Star
Despite the fact that Green Bay has not added a pass rusher just yet, there is a big name who could still be available. That name is Cincinnati Bengals’ superstar Trey Hendrickson.
In a new trade proposal from Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report, the Packers were named in a blockbuster suggestion. Green Bay would acquire Hendrickson from the Bengals, along with the No. 81 overall pick in the third round, in exchange for Jaire Alexander and the No. 54 overall pick in the second round.
