Plymouth Argyle man hailed by Miron Muslic after Coventry City win
Plymouth Argyle boss Miron Muslic has said he thought Darko Gyabi was ‘brilliant’ against Coventry City.
Plymouth Argyle’s manager was pleased with the way Muhamed Tijana, Ryan Hardie and Mustapha Bundu worked up front, with Gyabi and Adam Randall in behind. PAFC won 3-1 against the Sky Blues.
Bundu scored twice against Frank Lampard’s side, with Hardie also on the scoresheet. They remain 24th in the table and are inside the drop zone with Cardiff City and Luton Town, three points from safety with two fixtures left.
Muslic was pleased with the three points and said afterwards, as per a report by PlymouthLive: “Finally, Tijani reached a fitness where he could start after struggling weeks and months of being injured. The plan was to put him there central so he can get very close to the centre-backs and get those duels to create moments for Hardie and Mustapha Bundu to escape.
“I think this trio was extremely dangerous but supported with a good structure in behind. If you see how our back three, or back five, played, how organised, how clean we were in our defending, with a very strong Adam (Randell) and a brilliant Darko (Gyabi). Everything worked off the script.”
