Newcastle United fans would love to see Bryan Mbeumo arrive at St James’ Park this summer.

“I do think Newcastle United will be targeting Bryan Mbeumo,” he said.

“I think Newcastle United could be leading the chase for him at the moment.

“They like him and he could be available for a good price – possibly under £60million. He’s a good player who fits in with Eddie Howe.

“There are also players in Europe on their radar, such as Johan Bakayoko at PSV and Maghnes Akliouche at Monaco. Newcastle have already done a lot of work on these players.”

Given the season he is having, Brentford are braced for interest in Mbeumo. Newcastle United are not the only club that are keen, with Give Me Sport reporting that Nottingham Forest are interested in the Cameroon international too.
