Crystal Palace missing two players for Aston Villa as Oliver Glasner makes ‘huge’ admission
Unai Emery’s Aston Villa are preparing to face Crystal Palace in an FA Cup semi-final at Wembley
Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has issued an injury update ahead of facing Aston Villa in an FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
The two clubs will go head-to-head at Wembley on Saturday (5:15pm).
And Glasner has been boosted by the recovery from illness of on-loan Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell ahead of the tie.
“Ben Chilwell is back and fit (after his illness),” Glasner told a press conference on Friday. “So, we have everyone available.
“Everyone is in a good mood and looking forward to it.”
Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad are unavailable for the Eagles.
“Of course, playing a semi-final is always great. We’ve done really well in the cup competition until now,” added Glasner.
“It’s a huge game at Wembley, we’re looking forward to it and the goal is to win tomorrow and to go through to the final.
“They (Aston Villa) are in great shape – they have eight wins out of the last ten. It’s a game… I don’t want to make it bigger than it is. But we’re ready.”
