MLB Makes Historic Mets Announcement After Phillies Game

The New York Mets are on fire to begin the 2025 season. They have won 18 of their first 25 games, including seven straight after Wednesday night’s win against the Philadelphia Phillies. New York currently holds a commanding five-game lead in the National League East division, the biggest division lead in baseball. The Mets have had several memorable moments this year, including multiple walk-off wins and last-second victories. Additionally, no team in baseball has been better than New York at its home ballpark so far this season. After thirteen games in New York, the Mets are off to a historic start in Queens.
