Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes was one of many Brazil players who faced the wrath of their fans after drawing to Uruguay.
The 27-year-old started in midfield for Brazil as they drew 1-1 with Uruguay in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Brazil have struggled in their World Cup qualification campaign and only sit fifth in the South American standings after the latest draw.
Bruno Guimaraes is one of 10 Newcastle players away on international duty and he will return to Tyneside having started in both of Brazil’s matches this week.
Statistics revealed Guimaraes is the hardest-working player in the Premier League and he may be in need of a rest after a hectic few weeks with club and country.

How Bruno Guimaraes fared for Brazil vs Uruguay.
On Thursday, Brazilian media praised Guimaraes for his display vs Venezuela despite Brazil being held to a 1-1 draw.
The five-time World Cup winners struggled against Uruguay and were booed off the pitch by fans as reported by TNT Sports Brazil.
Guimaraes started for Brazil in a midfield pairing with Gerson, and he played 86 minutes before being replaced by Andre.
What Brazilian media said about Bruno Guimaraes vs Uruguay
It was a difficult match for Brazil, who dominated much of the match but struggled to break down a well-organised Uruguayan defence.
Ultimately, Guimaraes was deployed in a role where he was tasked with protecting the defence and he did that superbly.
Brazilian media have delivered their verdict on Guimaraes’ performance, and they believe he was one of the best players on the pitch.

Globo gave Guimaraes a 7/10 rating – only Gerson got a higher rating in the Brazil team.
They added: “He was the team’s main driver in the first half, whether it was moving the ball around or attempting deep passes. He made good passes to Savinho and got the better of most of the duels.”
Guimaraes will now return to Newcastle and will have a few days to prepare before the Premier League campaign resumes on Monday evening against West Ham.
