Ruud van Nistelrooy gives verdict as Jakub Stolarczyk reacts to making PL debut for Leicester vs Liverpool.
Leicester City faced off with Liverpool in a Premier League clash on Thursday evening.
The Foxes were very much up against it when they took on Arne Slot’s men at Anfield on Boxing Day.
The Reds went into the fixture sat top of the Premier League with just one defeat to their name, while Leicester City had conceded seven in their previous two matches.
Jordan Ayew did give the Midlands outfit some hope of causing an upset with an early goal to make it 1-0.
But when all was said and done, Leicester lost 3-1 to Liverpool and have now dropped into the relegation zone.

Ahead of the game, Ruud van Nistlerooy had a few big selection calls to make.
With Leicester fans booing Danny Ward after a horror showing versus Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out, the Welshman was dropped to the bench against Liverpool.
But with Mads Hermansen still injured, the Leicester boss instead had to call upon Jakub Stolarczyk to play between the sticks.
Stolarczyk has only just returned from an injury of his own and was thrown straight in at the deep end against a high-scoring Liverpool.
Despite conceding three goals, however, the shot-stopper was left upbeat after the match and took to X/Twitter to pen a message after making his Premier League debut.
He wrote: “It wasn’t the result we all wanted but it was a special feeling making my Premier League Debut. Dreams do come true. Onto to the next.”

Ruud van Nistelrooy verdict on Jakub Stolarczyk after Liverpool
Leicester have now shipped the joint-most goals in the top flight this season along with Wolves (40).
But Van Nistelrooy was still quick to praise Stolarczyk for how he performed post-match, as per Leicestershire Live.
He said: “Today he did an excellent job, he couldn’t have done better.
“The saves he made, those are the first thing you look at. But I also look at calmness, at his composure in certain moments. He’s a young goalkeeper, talented.
“He was out for a long time with injury, just played once in the Under-21s. Today he’s making his (Premier League) debut at Anfield. If you can pull off a performance like that, it’s a big credit to him.”
The Foxes are back in action against Manchester City on Sunday and will once more likely find it very hard to keep Erling Haaland and co. quiet.
