Player who left Leeds United in talks with European side after Hull City move collapsed
Liam Cooper is in talks with CSKA Sofia following his exit from Leeds United, according to a report by Football Insider.
His Leeds United contract expired at the end of last season and he has since been weighing up his options as a free agent. Football Insider claim the player recently saw a switch to his boyhood club Hull City fall through.
Cooper, 33, has a big decision to make on where he wants to go next. The new campaign is already underway now and the clock is ticking for him to find a new home.
In this latest update regarding his situation by Football Insider, he is now in discussions with CSKA Sofia over a potential switch to Bulgaria. They finished 3rd in the table last term and have won the title 31 times in the past.
Former Hull City winger Jason Lokilo has already joined them this summer and they could now turn to another Football League man.
