The Boston Celtics squeaked out a tough road win over the first-place Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night, 112-105.
Derrick White sealed the gutsy C’s victory with four fourth-quarter 3-pointers. He finished with 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting from deep.
Boston limited Cleveland to 39.6 percent shooting (11-for-39 from 3). Donovan Mitchell notched a team-high 31 points for the Cavs, whose lead over the Celtics in the Eastern Conference standings shrinks to 4.5 games.
