The ‘bizarre’ development ahead of FA Cup clash with Blackburn that could play right into Wolves’ hands.

Vitor Pereira is hoping for another win in the competition, which he clearly sees as a big deal.
The Portuguese went with a strong team in the last round, and is likely to do the same again today.
Wolves signed two new players on transfer deadline day, and it’s possible we could see Marshall Munetsi and Nasser Djiga in action today.
Wolves fans are optimistic about a win, and some rather interesting news has broken just before kick-off that may benefit the away side at Ewood Park.

Blackburn receive approach from Derby for manager John Eustace just before FA Cup game with Wolves.
It has been reported this morning by Sky’s Rob Dorsett that Blackburn have received an approach for their manager John Eustace from Derby County, just minutes before today’s FA Cup game with Wolves.
He wrote on X: “#dcfc have made a formal approach to #brfc for manager John Eustace.
“Derby mindful of Rovers’ FA Cup game v #wwfc this lunchtime but negotiations expected to accelerate after full-time. Seems bizarre, with Rovers 6th and Derby in relegation places, but Derby have ambitious plans.”
Eustace is said to be the Rams’ top target to replace Paul Warne (Derby Telegraph) who was sacked after overseeing a seven-game losing run in the Championship.
