Munetsi reacts to memorable Wolves debut
Zimbabwean footballer Marshall Munetsi expressed that it was a ‘dream come true’ to make his first appearance for Wolves during the club’s 2-0 win against Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup last weekend.
As a player formerly on the books of Baroka FC and Orlando Pirates in South Africa, Munetsi joined Wolves from Stade Reims for €20 million during the January transfer window.
With the 28-year-old donning the Wolves kit for the first time recently, Munetsi mentioned that his teammates have been doing well to help him settle in behind the scenes.
“I’m so delighted, you know, because it has been a dream come true for me, representing a big club like Wolves,” Munetsi said, as per FarPost.
“What a way to start; I think the guys had already done the most difficult job, to take the lead, and I was just there to do my small part.
“I think it has been very easy because everybody is very kind. Everybody is willing to help, you know, to assist me in getting comfortable.”
