Albion’s mixed start under Tony Mowbray continued with a share of the spoils at Millwall.

Mowbray made six changes for the victory over Sheffield Wednesday, a further three for the midweek clash with Blackburn and five at Millwall. Clearly, in the first few weeks of a new manager’s reign, that shows a boss trying to figure his squad out.

There are always specific examples. Mowbray wanted physicality at Millwall and those that impressed against Wednesday stayed in for Blackburn.

Some supporters have suggested the heavy tinkering of the line-up has done little to help players build cohesion. Wingers Tom Fellows and Mikey Johnston, two star attackers, have at times been out of the reckoning with others who have struggled this season preferred.
