Tottenham could be without James Maddison for Ipswich match
Tottenham Hotspur could face another selection issue ahead of the Premier League fixture at Ipswich Town on Saturday.
SpursWeb has learned that it is understood James Maddison is a selection concern for Tottenham ahead of the trip to Portman Road having picked up a slight knock following the win against Manchester United.
Maddison was instrumental in Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Manchester United, having scored the only goal of the match in the first half to end the North Londoners 105 day wait for a Premier League victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The goal was Maddison’s tenth of the season when he reacted quickest tap home from close range after Lucas Bergvall’s low shot was parried by Andre Onana.
It is thought to be a small issue which Maddison has sustained and is not expected to sideline him for any extended period of time.
Maddison was brought off in the 64th minute against United upon his return to action with Brennan Johnson coming on in his place for some also much-needed minutes following his own injury issues.

Ange Postecoglou must now decide whether to include the playmaker as part of his squad against Ipswich, or not take the risk with Manchester City the visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday evening.
