Everton v Man Utd: Ex-FIFA ref shares if Young could face FA action after what he did..

Ashley Young was understandably frustrated after Everton played a contentious 2-2 draw against Manchester United at Goodison Park.

Quickfire goals from Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte undeservedly brought the Red Devils back into the game but late drama was to follow.

Veteran defender Younger was felled by a combination of Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt and referee Andy Madley originally pointed to the penalty spot.

However, after visiting the pitch-side monitor following a recommendation by VAR, Madley overturned his decision.

However, ex-FIFA referee and former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett suggested that on this occasion, Young would face any sort of reprimand for his post.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Hackett merely said: “I do not think that the FA will take action on his post.”

Everton have now taken 14 points from their past six Premier League games under David Moyes to leave themselves 14th in the table 14 clear of the drop zone.
