Worrall has been speaking about Murillo’s impact at the City Ground having been at the club when he arrived two years ago in a £10m deal from Brazilian club Corinthians.

And the now Burnley defender says Forest should not even contemplate his exit unless big bucks are on the table.

“He’s quick, strong, can head it, reads danger really well,” he told the Guardian.

“I think that’s something that you watch for with players who are good with the ball who play centre-back.

“They dribble with it and they pass it and whatever, but can they defend?

“He can read danger. He’s in the right place at the right time. It’s no fluke – he just knows, it’s something that he’s checking.

“He’s worth well north of £50m in my eyes. It’ll be a travesty if Forest let him go for a penny less.”

Worrall added that Murillo has made every effort to settle into life at the City Ground by moving his family over to the UK.

“Murillo is an amazing talent,” Worrall says.

“One thing I can say is he’s a real good kid and he’s someone who works hard in training. He’s a fighter and clearly knows what it takes to get to the level because he’s performing at it now – he’s no fluke.
