Introducing: Lewis Koumas | 'I'm a player you don't see very often' ​

Stoke City loanee Lewis Koumas has emerged on the radar of Crystal Palace according to journalist Alan Nixon on his Patreon page.

Stoke City swooped to land the attacker on loan from Liverpool in the last window. He is due to spend the whole season with SCFC.

Koumas, 19, has made 38 appearances in all competitions for the Staffordshire outfit this season, 32 of which have come in the league, and he has chipped in with six goals and three assists. He is being tipped for a bright future in the game.

In this latest update regarding his situation ahead of the summer by reporter Nixon on Patreon, Crystal Palace are keen to snap him up in the next window. The report adds that Ben Doak is also on their watch list.

The Potters are sat in 19th in the table and are five points above the drop zone after losing at Norwich City this weekend.

Stoke City landed Koumas to add more competition and depth to their attacking ranks.

He was given the green light to leave Liverpool on a temporary basis to get some experience under his belt.

The youngster has since enjoyed plenty of game time with the Potters and is looking to help them stay up.

Crystal Palace could see him as one for the future as they plot potential additions.

After signing Koumas, Stoke City sporting director Jon Walters told their website at the time: “In Lewis, we are signing a player of huge potential and I’m excited to see what the 24/25 season has in store for him in a Stoke City shirt.

“We are thankful to Liverpool for entrusting us with one of their brightest prospects ahead of other interested clubs.

“I know he’ll be warmly welcomed into the Stoke City family and will get all the support he needs – from staff, teammates and fans alike – to be successful with the Club.”

The Wales international, who has five caps to his name, joined Liverpool in 2016 from Tranmere Rovers.

He has since risen up through the academy ranks of the Reds and has played once for their first-team.

What now for Lewis Koumas at Stoke City?
Koumas’ focus will be on survival with Stoke City right now.

He is then due to return to Anfield when his stay is over.

Time will tell whether Crystal Palace end up launching a move.
