Leeds and Sheffield United promotion prediction made by Super Computer after win
Leeds United secured a huge boost in the promotion race on Monday, inflicting a blow to the hopes of Sheffield United in the process.
A 3-1 win for Leeds United at Bramall Lane saw the Whites go five points clear at the top of the Championship, significantly boosting their hopes of making a return to the Premier League.
Ao Tanaka was the standout performer for Leeds, scoring the second goal after Junior Firpo had equalised, with Joel Piroe finishing the night with a bang.
With 12 games remaining, there could still be several twists and turns but Leeds are very much in the driving seat amid the latest table predictions.
Leeds have a foot and a half in the Premier League
Leeds’ victory against Sheffield United was arguably the most important of the season and was another showcase of just how much quality is in this squad.
Despite going 1-0 down, the Whites showed a remarkable amount of resilience to score three in the final 20 minutes of the game, and it may have already wrapped up promotion for them.
Via the latest supercomputer predictions courtesy of Opta Analyst, Leeds now have a remarkable 98.1 per cent chance of securing promotion, with an 88.42 per cent chance of winning the title.
Daniel Farke‘s side are forecasted to finish on 99 points, eight points clear at the top.

As for the Blades, their chances of promotion have been reduced to 50.2 per cent, with just a 6.2 per cent chance of the title, despite being a point clear of the Peacocks at one stage in the game.
The latest forecast has them to finish on 91 points, the same as Burnley and 11 points clear of Sunderland.
