Fulham boss Marco Silva reveals ‘the reality’ of playing against Wolves in damning second-half assessment
Wolves suffered defeat to Fulham in what was an unacceptable second-half performance from the squad at Molineux.
Vitor Pereira was far from satisfied with how his squad performed against Fulham, who walked away from the West Midlands with three points.
Wolves lost 2-1 to Marco Silva’s side courtesy of two early mishaps, conceding one minute into the first half and then, two minutes into the second.
Pereira’s frustrations were justified as his team failed to get themselves back into the game after Jose Sa’s error to allow Rodrigo Muniz to score, in what was a deflating second-half showing.

While Pereira had some success with his half-time team talks earlier in the season, the Wolves manager’s advice certainly didn’t go through to his players against Fulham.
Muniz scored to give the visitors the lead moments after the restart, which was a match-defining moment for the Old Gold who bizarrely didn’t react to going behind.
For a squad in a relegation battle, the lack of fight was surprising, with even the Fulham manager commenting on Wolves’ missing desire to come back from the early error.
