Date and how to watch as Crystal Palace, Millwall and Fulham in action
The FA Cup round of 16 fixtures will take place from Friday 28 February to Monday 3 March.
The FA Cup is getting into the latter stages as the round of 16 getting underway on Friday with fixtures scheduled for Saturday, Sunday and Monday as three London teams aim to get into the quarter-finals of the competition.
This season’s competition has opened up due to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool already getting eliminated. The Reds were subject to the biggest upset of the competition this year as they lost to Championship side Plymouth Argyle in the last round. Argyle have been drawn to face Manchester City in the fifth round.
There are 11 Premier League teams left, with Plymouth Argyle the lowest-ranked team still in the competition. The three remaining London teams are Fulham, Crystal Palace, and Millwall.
The round of 16 begins on Friday night with a game between Aston Villa and Championship side Cardiff City, which kicks off at 8pm from Villa Park. Unai Emery’s side are one of the heavy favourites to lift the cup come the end of the season.
The first London teams will play in the lunch time kick off on Saturday as Millwall make the short trip to Crystal Palace to play in a South London derby that hasn’t been seen since an FA Cup game in 2022. Another derby will also take place at lunchtime tomorrow, with Burnley and Preston facing each other in the Lancashire derby.
The other two games on Saturday will feature more Premier League teams, as Bournemouth host Wolves at 3pm, before Manchester City host Championship Plymouth Argyle who are looking for their second upset of the competition.
