The West Ham United loanee netted his ninth goal of the campaign in the Terriers’ 2-1 victory at Stevenage on Saturday.

The strike was his second in as many matches following a run of 12 games without a goal, with the 20-year-old also finding the target against Wigan Athletic last Tuesday.

Marshall has featured regularly for Town this term, making 36 appearances in all competitions to date. He told HTTV: “When you come on loan, you want to be in an environment where you’re wanted, where you’re one of hopefully the main players that can make a difference in a game.

“Especially as an attacker, you want to be the one getting goals and assists, and making big differences for the team.

“That’s what every youngster looks for when they come on loan, so I think it’s going well, and hopefully I can get more before the end of the season.”
