Jack Harrison in talks to seal MLS permanent move

Leeds United are now only a Jack Harrison agreement away from ensuring every loan clause player has been shifted out of the club, and he has now held talks for an exit with MLS clubs.

Rasmus Kristensen and Jack Harrison were the only two players remaining with their loan clauses active and still in use this season, but Leeds have agreed to sell the right-back for a £5million up front fee to Eintracht Frankfurt.

That leaves just Harrison with his future up in the air, not welcome back at Elland Road, but not someone that his loan club Everton intend on signing, based on his current form of no goals or assists all season.

A report from the Yorkshire Evening Post has revealed that Harrison is now exploring a permanent transfer away from Leeds, namely with a return to the MLS on the cards.

Harrison started his senior career in the United States with New York City FC, playing alongside the likes of David Villa, Andrea Pirlo and Frank Lampard, before moving across the City Group to Manchester City in 2018, spending most of that time on loan at Elland Road.

Now, it is claimed that the winger has held exploratory “conversations” with MLS clubs over a potential return across the Atlantic in 2025.

No official offer has been lodged for the on-loan Everton winger, but Harrison is said to be open to a return to the MLS:

“A spokesperson for Leeds United told the YEP the player’s future will be decided this summer, confirming no official approaches had been made. The player’s partner is originally from Central American nation Costa Rica and is believed to divide time between the United States and England, where Harrison resides.”
