Exclusive: Ex-Moyes ally rages over £40m Everton transfer news he’s heard
David Moyes will look to make changes this summer, although one proposed move hasn’t gone down well with a former Everton employee.
It is set to be a summer of change for the Toffees as they prepare to move from Goodison Park to Bramley-Moore Dock.
With the futures of a host of players up in the air, it could be a busy summer in terms of incomings and outgoings for the Blues.
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that every bit of transfer business will be welcomed by everybody.
Everton look to sign Richarlison from Tottenham
As reported by TBR Football (5 March), Richarlison could return to Everton this summer.
Moyes’ side would be interested in re-signing the Brazilian provided the Tottenham striker was willing to make the move, with the Blues in the market for a new centre-forward.
However, a deal for Richarlison could cost £40million [GiveMeSport].

Alan Myers shared via X (7 March) that Moyes is a fan of the 27-year-old. However, ex-Goodison scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – doesn’t want to see Richarlison anywhere near the club again.
“No chance that happens,” King said.
“Who would want Richarlison back? If Moyes likes him, fine. However, I don’t like him; I wouldn’t want to see him back at Everton and that is that. I don’t think he would be of benefit at all.
“£40m for Richarlison? Forget it. Do the people that suggest these things ever get out of bed? Seriously, who is coming up with this stuff? I think this is a ridiculous suggestion. He never benefited Everton when he was at the club in the first place.”
