FOOTBALL – Coventry City to show support for ‘Unite for Access’ campaign this weekend
COVENTRY City will show their support for the Level Playing Field ‘Unite for Access’ campaign at their game against Sunderland this weekend.
The Sky Blues host the Black Cats on Saturday, March 15 at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Coventry will underline their support for the campaign and for improving access for disabled supporters.
The 2025 Level Playing Field ‘Unite for Access’ campaign runs from Saturday, March 1 to Sunday, March 16.
Coventry are working alongside its Disabled Supporters Association to support the campaign throughout the Sunderland game.
The club will produce content for their website, social media channels, matchday programme and on the matchday itself relating to the campaign.
The Disabled Supporters Association represent the views of disabled fans throughout the club and work in partnership with Coventry to improve the matchday experience for all disabled supporters.
Following the establishment of the Association in 2022, Coventry have appointed a designated disability access officer, Eamon Collins, to oversee all aspects of accessibility.
This includes the matchday experience for disabled guests within hospitality areas, creating a new visitors accessible platform within the visitors’ section, improving the sensory room experience and launching a new audio descriptive commentary service.
