Hull City, Sunderland eyeing potential move for 19-year-old, report claims
Hull City and Sunderland are both interest in free agent goalkeeper Vladyslav Krapyvstov, according to Ukranian news outlet TaToTake.
Hull City and Sunderland were both busy in the latter stages of the summer transfer window as they looked to prepare their squads for the 2024/25 campaign.
The Tigers saw a host of influential players depart including Jaden Philogene and Jacob Greaves. It left the recruitment team on Humberside with a tough task and manager Tim Walter to pick up the pieces, perhaps contributing to their poor start to this season
The Black Cats have enjoyed quite the contrast though. They might have lost to Plymouth Argyle at the weekend, but four wins from four in the games prior have made for a strong start to the Regis Le Bris era.
Now, both Hull City and Sunderland have been linked with a post-window free agent swoop.
As cited by Zorya Londonsk, Ukranian outlet TaToTake has said on Patreon that 19-year-old goalkeeper Vladyslav Krapyvtsov is attracting interest from the Championship duo. He’s without a club after leaving SC Dnipro in the summer transfer window.
Krapyvtsov is said to be on trial with Chelsea as he bids to find a new club but Hull City boss Walter has expressed a personal interest in bringing the youngster to the MKM Stadium.
