The Hollywood pair took over Wrexham in February 2021 and quickly got to work transforming the club.
The club’s transfer record has been broken on several occasions in the last four years, including three times in the last two windows.
In the summer, Wrexham signed Ollie Rathbone from Rotherham United for a record fee before Modou Faal joined just weeks later to top that deal.
More recently, Sam Smith became the club’s record signing, with suggestions he is the first player to set the Welsh outfit back seven figures in transfer fees
While Smith cost a pretty penny initially, one Wrexham man could end up setting Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney over £1m in the next year and a half.
Jay Rodriguez could cost Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney £1.09m
On the same day Smith signed for Wrexham, Jay Rodriguez also arrived on a free transfer from Burnley.
Rodriguez came to the Racecourse Ground with a wealth of Premier League and Championship experience.
The 35-year-old has had a prolific career at the top of the English game and even rejected interest from the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal to stay with Southampton back in 2015, according to the Express.
Rodriguez is struggling for goals at Wrexham and has so far failed to find the back of the net in his first 10 outings for the club.
That will hopefully change in the near future though, especially when looking at how much the forward is actually costing the Red Dragons.
