Coventry City have eight games to secure their place in the Championship play-offs after an incredible run of ten wins from their last 12 games has put them right in the mix for the final promotion shake-up.
Having beaten fourth placed Sunderland pretty comprehensively at the weekend, confidence is high as the Sky Blues prepare to face two more of the top end sides – Sheffield Unite
d and Burnley – when they return from he international beak.
After that there’s a potentially tricky trip to Hull, difficult home game against West Brom – against whom they have a poor record – and two more testing away games at Plymouth and Luton before rounding off against Middlesbrough at the CBS.
It’s not the easiest run of fixtures and Fra
nk Lampard’s men will certainly need to dig deep and produce a few more performances like the one at the weekend against the Black Cats to ensure they keep ahead of their rivals for what we’re assuming is the final two available places in fifth and sixth.
