Wrexham are looking to secure a historic third straight promotion in the 2024/25 season.
After winning promotion from the National League in 2022/23, the Red Dragons wasted little time in continuing their climb up the EFL.
A closely contested end to the previous campaign saw Wrexham finish second in League Two, just behind their upcoming opponents, Stockport County.
2024/25 is set to be another very tense contest to secure automatic promotion, with only one place really available after Birmingham City ran away with the league and will go up as champions.
Standing in the Welsh outfit’s way this term is a Wycombe Wanderers side who have proven to be the surprise package of the season.
Wrexham beat Wycombe 1-0 on Saturday thanks to a late goal from January addition Sam Smith.
That win saw Phil Parkinson’s side climb up to second but the Chairboys still had a game in hand, which they played out against Rotherham United on March 18th.

Rotherham actually took the lead in Tuesday’s fixture before star man Richard Kone equalised just three minutes later.
There were then three goals from the 90th minute onward, seeing Wycombe come away with a 3-2 win to knock Wrexham back down to second.
