Breece Hall talks with the media

Jets star reveals he was drug-tested after big game.

The NFL’s random drug testing has struck again.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall enjoyed a productive afternoon on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. In a 24-17 win for New York, Hall produced 114 yards from scrimmage (62 rushing yards and 52 receiving yards). Hall also had an impressive touchdown grab in the third quarter, going airborne over a Titans defender to haul in the deep ball from Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

On Monday, Hall revealed that he was drug-tested after his big game.

“Caught a touchdown and got that drug test text this morning,” Hall wrote, along with several laughing emojis.

The 23-year-old Hall, the Jets’ leading rusher as well as their third-leading receiver, has had a really nice start to the 2024 season. He also rushed for a touchdown in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers as part of a 93-yard effort from scrimmage.

As for the drug test from the NFL, it might not even be entirely related to Hall’s performance on the field. During the offseason, Hall had predicted that he would be drug-tested soon due to his improved physique.

Zach Wilson no longer worst recent QB bust after Bryce Young benching.

Wilson wasn’t as bad as Young has been in Carolina.

Former NY Jets quarterback Zach Wilson and struggling Carolina Panthers signal-caller Bryce Young are birds of a feather in that they both came into the NFL destined for stardom and fell flat on their face. Wilson was being put in JaMarcus Russell discussions in his Jets career.

Wilson was so bad that midway through his second season, Robert Saleh made the decision to bench him. While he played most of the 2023 season, that was only due to Aaron Rodgers’ injury. Wilson has since been traded to the Denver Broncos, but he is relegated to third-string, and replaced on the Jets by veteran Tyrod Taylor.

While Wilson has made his mark as one of the worst picks in NFL history, Young has somehow topped him. In just 18 games (only two of which he won by 15-13 and 9-7 scorelines, respectively), the Panthers have already made the shocking decision to bench Young and start Andy Dalton.

Wilson supporters, who feverishly snap up any bit of positivity they can find, can now put another win in their back pocket. Wilson is officially “not as bad as Bryce Young, who could be the worst No. 1 pick of the Super Bowl era.” It’s time for a celebration! Non-alcoholic drinks all around for the people in Utah!
