Tottenham Ready to Ask ‘Exciting’ Manager to Replace Postecoglou
Tottenham Hotspur could opt to land Thomas Frank as their next boss, according to reports – with the Brentford manager thought to be ‘ready’ for the next stage of his career by joining the beleaguered side, who have struggled under Ange Postecoglou this season.
The Lilywhites are just two points clear of 17th-placed West Ham United in the Premier League table, and amazingly, are still mathematically in with a shout of relegation – which is highly unlikely, but that shouldn’t be the case at this late stage of the season. With that in mind, Postecoglou has to save his job by winning the Europa League, and if he fails to do so, it’s thought that the club’s board will opt to end his tenure at the club – opening the door for a move to Frank.
The report by TEAMtalk states that Frank is ‘high’ on Tottenham’s list of possible targets to replace Postecoglou if the Aussie departs from the hot seat in north London.

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola is proving difficult to tempt to move the capital, and so Frank has emerged as an alternative to come into the dugout after his superb work with Brentford, which has seen him labelled as ‘exciting’ by the High Performance Podcast.
The Bees boss is loved in west London, and they will do all they can to keep hold of him, but the report states that he could be ready to take the next step in his career and Tottenham would be seen as that option.
Frank’s release clause is in the region of £10million, and although Tottenham weren’t willing to pay that in January, that is a different story ahead of the summer transfer window.
Frank was also in the running when Antonio Conte was sacked two years ago, but the timing wasn’t right for him to exit Brentford with the Bees having been in the fight for European football at the time.
