‘Last big contract’ – Player set to leave Wolves and cash-in for end of career
Pablo Sarabia’s future beyond this season will be away from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, and they state it’s a ‘certainty’ the 32-year-old will leave Wolves when his contract expires in June.
On Sunday, the attacking midfielder came off the bench to score the winner in Wolves’ 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Sarabia’s game time has been limited at the Premier League club this season. To put it in context, he’s played 669 minutes from 19 league games, managing three goals and two assists in the process.
The former Sevilla man’s qualities, experience and contract situation at Molineux makes him an attractive option in the market. He’s already been linked to Sevilla and Celta Vigo and Estadio points out their interest again.
At this moment in time, it’s unclear where the Wolves player will move. The report states the Spaniard is aiming to secure the ‘last big contract’ of his playing career in the summer window.
Estadio indicates the player won’t be lacking offers but make no mention of any club that has made a proposal to him. What’s clear for now is that Sarabia’s won’t be at Wolves next season.
